When we look up at the sky, we can see our baby in the stars. It is My Angel Baby because each of you can claim it as your own—and every loss parent can as well. By naming a star in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, no matter where we are in the world, our babies are always above us.
Both stars are bright and visible to the naked eye, and you do not need a telescope to see them. They were chosen carefully for their meaning, stories, and symbolism, as well as their visibility.

A star for the angel babies in the Northern Hemisphere
The constellation Cygnus holds a rich tapestry of meaning, woven from ancient myth and modern wonder. Known as The Swan, Cygnus is not a story of conquest, pride, or permanence. It is a story of passage—of love, devotion, and gentle movement across the sky.
In Greek mythology, Cygnus is often associated with transformation and loyalty, a figure who becomes a swan not to rule, but to protect, to mourn, or to carry love beyond what the mortal world allows. As it stretches across the Milky Way—often called the river of stars—Cygnus appears to glide rather than dominate, reminding us that some journeys are not meant to end, only to continue in a different form.
Cygnus represents the soul’s journey. Not an ending, but a crossing. A movement from one place to another, guided by love and memory. The swan itself has long symbolized purity, devotion, and remembrance across cultures, making Cygnus a powerful symbol for lives that moved through this world briefly, yet meaningfully.
For the Angel Baby Club, Cygnus represents our babies traveling—carried gently across the sky, just as they are carried across places, water, mountains, and memories. Your baby’s name continues to move forward through the world. They are not remembered only by Fallon’s Flight, but by every parent in the Angel Baby Club and by all who follow along. They are seen. They are recognized. They are honored and loved.
If Cygnus were to hold a motto for the Angel Baby Club, it would be this:
They are still moving. They are still with us.
A star for the angel babies in the Southern Hemisphere.
The constellation Centaurus carries the story of the centaur, most often linked to Chiron—the teacher and healer who, though wounded himself, devoted his life to helping others. Chiron’s wound never healed, yet his life was marked by wisdom, love, and service. His story is not one of overcoming pain, but of learning how to live with it while still offering care to the world.
Centaurus is the largest constellation in the southern sky, home to some of the brightest stars and deepest sky objects we can see. It fills a vast space in the darkness, much like our babies fill the deepest parts of our lives. Their presence lights place we never wanted to know yet now must navigate. In that darkness, they become guides—creating connection, illumination, and direction where there was once only loss.
Our babies have brought many of us together, forming bonds, understanding, and friendships we would not have found otherwise. They create paths through broken hearts, not by removing the pain, but by reshaping how we move through it. We will never be fully “healed.” Their absence leaves a permanent mark, much like a scar—something we always carry, always see, and always feel. Healing does not mean becoming whole again; it means building something new while holding both love and pain at the same time.
Named for the wounded healer, Centaurus honors a love that endures even when healing is incomplete. Our children remain part of us, shaping how we love, how we care, and how we hold space for others. Through loving them, we learn empathy, patience, and how to continue forward without leaving them behind.
If Centaurus held a motto for the Angel Baby Club, it would be:
We carry the wound. We carry the love. We carry each other.
